This is my First ever Mod so please excuse minor(read: major) flaws. I have been working for Geek Squad for a few months now and modding my own PC has always been a sort of fantasy of mine but, I always lacked a real theme to keep it from being a cheezy neon lights and window mod. This job gave me the perfect opprotunity Although this is not a chronological log this case is far from done. I'm lacking real inspiration to pull it all together and thus am looking for outside oppinion on this from the helpful modders here. I will show you what I started with and where I am now.

    The original Case: [IMG]

A Dynex Case with a 500 Watt power supply. On employee discount All Black, Mesh vent on the locking cover X type cut out for window and blue lights. Don't really like it like this but I saw my first creation in it.

Keyboard (What's a themed mod without proper accesories) : [IMG]

Mouse : [IMG] Positivley Insane discount on this mouse :thumb:

This is where I am So far...

    The Geek Squad Logo

Outside The blue is clear lexan so its not really blue :worried:

    The outside of the case

    The original PSU
    [IMG]
I sleeved the Cables myself :D

The Mouse ( I think came out excellent) : [IMG]

The keyboard (also pretty Nifty until......)

NOTE Under no circumstanses should you ever use Paint Stripper to remove paint off a plastic keyboard. I used some on the Holes so the keys wouldn't stick and they all melted. Needless to say I ordered a new keyboard and is being reconstructed as we speak

The PSU was definetly clashing as I really didn't want any aluminum or any of the original color of the case to show. My goal was to get this looking absolutley nothing like the original and so my PSU now...:

Yer you need some larger images, but you've got a great paint job, the white and orange are great along with the black on orange striping.... sweet...
What are you sticking in there? Hardware i mean.. or is it just a simple case mod with no hardware upgrades, any LED light?

Thanks I want to put larger / More pictures but I can't get the size right with img tags from Flicker if anyone can recommend a good(Read: Free) picture storage site I'd be glad to put more. Mobo: Asus A8R-MVP
    Ram : Mushkin 2 x 1GB 184-Pin DDR SDRAM DDR 400 - 3-3-3-8 timing stock
    Video: Ati Radeon x1600 XT
HDD(OS): WD 36G Sata Raptor Partitioned for WinXp Pro and 64 Bit Vista Beta
    HDD(Storage): Seagate Sata Barracuda 250G
    Optical: 1x Lightscribe DVD+-RW/DL Burner 1x Random DVD-Rom Drive

finally someone is showing love for dynex products (specilly when you get the employee discount). I def went and did a shopping spree today and got many cables for much cheapness.

    I love cables...

    Back to the project...

that is some fantastic painting, did you paint the geek squad logo or is it a sticker?
Also, i love the color shceme.
