Hi and thanks for the feedback

Temps wise I am getting around 28C idle and after 3 hours playing TrackmaniaNations, the CPU temp was 32C and the GPU never budged off 38C.

That is with the fans on the 2nd lowest setting.

    Very happy so far.

    Registered just to say...

    Amazing work - well done.
I started following the thread for info on how to watercool the 7800gs but got totally involved in all the work you've been doing to your system.
Gonna go read it all again :)
    Again, well done.

    Gidday

I am quite a noob when it comes to overclocking. But I couldn't find any way to lower the mulitplier. You could raise the HTT? in single increments. I really didn't push very far with it.

    Update - 8800GTS and a new look - 11 April 2007

    Hi All

I thought I might post a small update.

Due to continuing problems trying to cool the the HSI chip on the 7800GS I changed the Motherboard for a PCI Express setup.

I am now running a Gigabyte GA-K8N51GMF-9 with the X2 3800+. Up until 2 weeks ago I was using a MSI 7800GTX video card, but have now upgraded to a Point of View 8800GTS 640Mb card. ;) I havn't watercooled the 8800GTS yet, but will be doing that soon.

I have plans to move to a C2D E6420 in the near future, but am trying to find information on MATX motherboards that can overclock ok.

Finally, I am including a design I completed in Sketchup with incorporates some additional fans to add some much needed airflow through the case as well as some visual excitement. I always thought there was something missing and I think this will do the trick.

Let me know what you think.

Looks needlessly over the top to me. I loved how the mod is now.
