I lost the little booklet that came with my 98se disk. I do however have the code from my 98se upgrade cd, will it work with the full install 98se cd?

    Probably Not...

Besides 98 Is Basically At End Of Life. IIRC There Are Some Patches That Microsoft Will Not Even Release For 98 Since It Would Require So Much Rework To The Kernel To Get Everything Correct.

    I Agree With Thingamajig.

Is 98 your only option? If you can, go with XP. If money's the issue, try Ubuntu.

Is 98SE still installed on your system? There's a code number shown in the System Manager box (My Computer/Properties) IIRC, or utilities like X-Setup will show you it.

If you have a 98SE Upgrade CD it will install everything onto a blank hard drive if you slot an older version into the CD or floppy drive when asked. The older version doesn't need to be already installed.
