I bought a pump relay and wondering how to connect it.. The pump has two wires one brown and one blue, and on the relay its thre connections marked G, L and N, AC OUT Any hints!?
blue - neutral brown - live ground - green/yellow striped thats for the UK anyway (and europe i think) G - ground L - live N - neutral
pictures would be helpful, as would any other lettering or numbering, like model numbers etc on the relay.
Sounds like the same one I have. Post some pics, and I can tell you (or anyone else who's ever used on I imagine).
Brown *may* be colour coded as neutral/earth and blue therefore live, but blue normally means negative to me.
sounds like your getting horribly mixed up between AC and DC. What i posted is the correct current UK wire colours. The old ones were different but what he is using is clearly not the old british standard as that is black and red. all he has to do is connect blue to N and brown to L. There is no ground on his pump so that is not needed
Don´t have any camera.... Anybody who wants do donate one? blue to N and brown to L........... Its alive!! Thanks dudes!!! What should the world be without the forums!?
