dos screen

    when I select start, run and then type command, and enter ipconfig /all I can't see the begining info which appears. Is there a way to solve this? aybe with a scroll bar or a command. Can someone please help me with this.

    Just..pull the screen up..or right click it..and do it in properties

    I just tried..and just resized my screen

    Alternatively, type

    It'll put the result of the command in the file specified after the > :)

    Odd, every XP machine I've seen has had a scrollbar on the command window by default...

    I'm not sure, but in Linux scrolling up in a terminal is done by presing <shift> + <page up>

    you could also use the |more command, it fills the screen then stops untill you hit a key. eg

    ipconfig /all |more
