    This kind of thing could of happened in the UK... the insurance company was'nt pay attention to what they were doing when the policy was taken out. I can pretty much gurantee that the guy who authorized the policy on the cigars was fired for negligance of company funds (or something along those lines - cause honestly, anyone that approved that policy is an idiot).

    The company was lucky that their lawyers were able to turn around and file a counter suit against this guy and get their money (and then some) back.

    I think the chances of something like that happening in the UK are far slimmer. The judges over here seem far more prepared to toss cases out when they're wasting time.
