Would be nice to see some actual numbers from the GPU coolers, like how they compare to the AC stuff. The soundbridge looks perfect for me, I need exactly what it provides. I'm definately looking into that one.

 

It's not a full review, it's an "on our desk."

Basically, this is all the little stuff that doesn't warrant a full review...each of us gets a little bit of random clutter for things that we were never intending to do a review on, but sometimes they're a little bit unusual and warrant at least a little mention. We're throwing this one out there for you because it's tiny and it works, to let you know it's out there...there's not much else to say!

 

You cannot get anything cheaper and easier than this.

4 AA Ni-Mh Batteries
1 AA Holder
1 USB Extension Cord

Each battery is 1.2V x 4 = 4.8V
USB is 5V

2500mA



If you want something smaller, just use AAA batts.

 

You sir, are an idiot. Lol just kiddin, but AAA's and AA's are both 1.5v, just with different amounts of 'energy' in them, if im not mistaken

 

I think NiMH are 1.2 whereas alkilines are 1.5V

 

A charged nimh battery can range from 1.4to1.6 so it is highly possible to have a 4 cell pack reach 6.4 volts. add a resistor in there and yoru golden.

 

yeah in my experience NiMH batteries are generally in the 1.5v range

meaning things that take AA's can use a NiMH battery, and run for longer, and NiMH batteries charge better then alkalines
