    well i still have MORE painting to do. Then i will buy the white LEDs and cold cathodes. And then i have to get a dremel and do the HL2 logo in the side of the case, buy the plexi/acrylic and epoxy to glue it in. After all that has been finished i will start to work out wether i should spend even more money on the case and have a PS1 screen mod in the front etc :D

    Well i kind of got a short update...

    I have only just been able to pick up another load of orange paint today which is why i havnt been doing any work on it. :rolleyes:

    The other day i went to the computer shop and bought a pretty cheap, but pretty nice looking keyboard...

    Took it apart, Primed it and gave it a little first coat with the paint i had left (Have no pics of painting because camera had ne batteries)

    But now i have the paint i have applied a couple more coats...

    I am also going to change these LEDs...

    I will be able to get hold of a dremel in around 2 weeks as i will be borowing one of a friend but he is away at the moment.

    I still havnt decided on a window yet though as im not sure the HL2 theme is going to carry on. Tell me what you think. :D

    Make the HL2 Logo out of acrylic fog it and light it up. btw you should get your own dremel they rock to own.

    Sounds like a good idea frosting it, might get an extra bit of acrylic and try that out.

    Man, the simple projects are sweet to watch. It means you put more effort and detail into each job in the mod. Nice work m8, keep it up! That paint job is awesome!! Looks like youve been spraying for years... Imo the hl2 logo idea is sweet. Get some clear acrylic/ perspex and then frost it up. After you get the pattern cut out of the panel, stick it in and get some white LED's/ CCFL's in there to light it. That would look sweet! Keep modding man, good luck with the project.

    heh nice color, that was gonna be the original color sceme for mywavemaster (orange +black racing stripes) , but i changed my mind because orange was just too hard to get a hold of, keep up the good work! Wavemasters rule!
