He could pull it off easily. At least all the exposed stuff like main transfer and branch out flexi poly tubing.

main transfer? water cooling is a loop as you well know and as i am sure you also know there are things and bends one must get around when routing tubes and besides bends look better so there. :D

    PSU cover

My plan was to make a mesh cover for the PSU, but after measuring the unit and the sheet of mesh I have..It comes up about 4" short..
My answer to bridge the 4" gap is to use a Aqua-Computer radiator grill.

this kills two birds with one stone. It makes up for the shortage of mesh and becomes the grill for the PSU's fan.

should end up looking something like this.

then a test-fit with some rubber c-strip added:

same flat-black as the case skeleton.

    It looks Awesome.

It does look a bit "bland" as compared to the rest of the case. Something like green bolts connecing it together, that would just be even better than it is now.

Thanks guys..I think it came out well..It looks finished now..
BUt, it seems the case-skin needs a "dremel-trim" to clear the new mesh-PSU cover...One step forward--one step back... :hehe:
@BoD: in this instance "bland" is good..IMO, the coolest part of this machine is it's top window. The top-view shows the skulled-up AC HD cooler, chrome plated Innovatek res-mount and the Hiper PSU..I did not want to shift the "minds-eye" to the PSU when viewing the top..Thanks for your feedback, it seems I got the look I was going for..

Another week in the books and after a few more BeeRs and some sleep I will be back at-it..
The H20-loop is foremost on my mind at this point in time..
BUT, this machine is like a jig-saw puzzle..Before I can start the loop, the pump needs to make it's way back into the case..BUT, before the pump can get bolted back in, the MB has to be installed..Before the MB can go in, some wiring needs to be done... :hehe:
    The curse of a small-case...
So, as you might expect this weeks update will be a-bit of everything..
I finished the second (3.5") mesh bay-cover during the week (a first for me)..So no more fabrication, only installation..
The LOOP: at this point the only "fer-sure" is that the last leg of the loop will be in/out of the BFG 7900GTX:
    Fast-Eddies H20-block is looking "kick-ass"..
This is also my first "go-around" with the 11.2mm black tygon..."BIG-sMaLL bore"!! :D

Now comes the disclaimer: this is not an update... just a pair of pictures. Please-ReLax:

Getting all that in there sounds like a lot of fun :hehe: Good luck with that, you'll need it :) And I thought plugging in those stupid front switches was a pain... sounds like you'll need a couple extra beers.

But that is for sure one sexy block. copper-pr0n

Thought that tubing looked big... 11.2mm? That's well over 3/8", hardly still in the small-bore range.

I spent the better part of the day getting the motherboard, videocard and pump installed (for keeps)..extremely tedious stuff.. getting all the wiring under the MB to cooperate took more than a few attempts. I had the MB in and out about four times before all was said and done..BUt, I think it was worth it. You can only (really) see (2) wires..The ATX and the six-pin PCI express..The wiring is far from done, that is fer-sure..
I have also come to the conclusion that the machine will need to be finished without the case-skin installed..Get it to post, install windows then put the skin back on.. :wallbash:
So, I need to come-up with a way to mount the Innovatek reservoir above the case skeleton for the time-being..
The one thing I did not have time for today was to shoot pictures. I did not feel it necessary to shoot step-by-step pictures, we all know how to bolt-in hardware. Tomorrow I will shoot and post a few just to chronicle the machines progress.. As of today SG looks like a computer...not just a case.. :thumb:

I had that same dilemma once, trying to hang a reservoir out of the case while testing. I think I ended up with a long piece of tightly-tied string, which worked pretty well. Might have been a different res though, so I'd be careful if you try it.

I know I have one of these somewhere:
It will all-but bridge the gap between the case's frame-rails..
Looking for it....must be somewhere.. :hehe: I remember getting it (a free-be) in butt-ugly red..
