Sound pretty good to me, but no doubt will be a tad more expensive here in the UK.

Anyway, this looks like good news, deffo going to go and get one of these when they become available

 

I very much doubt that it would be of this price. I'd say at least $200.

Btw,the price he has is just the equivalent price point (not confirmed yet either) and he believes it will remain the same. We all know that a game which retails around $x in japan is going to cost $1.5x

 

A Wii and another console... ok so thats 130, 500 for a PS3, 630 and then twice the amount of games, were still not made of money just a Wii or a discount 360 for me!

I am pretty sure that 170 is probably the cost they are talking about. It is going to come out for 200, just like all the other consoles.

 

If this is true then it solidifies the fact that I am going to buy one at release.

Just hope that they, like any other system, lives up to the hype.

 

anything under $199 USD would make me really really want to buy it.

Right now at > $200USD its cheap.. but I'm happy with my x360 and rather spend the money elsewhere.. lower than that would pretty much force me to buy it though.

Being too cheap can have it's drawbacks.

The Wii should be 200 bucks, no more and no less. Under 200 dollars they Wii will seem cheaply made and over 200 they Wii will seem extremely expensive.

 

$170USD would be acceptable, but I just don't spend enough time on consoles atm to justify even that.

I know that the price difference is just speculation at this time, but:
why are we ripped off so much in this country?
because we continue to pay so much.
it's not just Nintendo ...
