We've gotta buid it before we paint it... :hip:

    More Wire Holes...

Argh, argh... big mill is good... a whole inch or so to spare... :D

But she was chatterin'... so she needed a couple of braces inside...

I left some more room in this hole because the wires will move when the mainboard tray gets pulled out (the goal is to keep the rig operational with the mainboard pulled out)...

You have to look real hard, but you can see them if you look down from above... :hip:

Damn, I couldn't sleep, so I started reading this log...now sleep is impossible :D

This thing you're making is simply awesome, the billet aluminium, the attention to detail and the overall design of the case. Reading the whole log took me a while, but it was well worth it.

Keep up the undescribeable work, you just got a new fan :thumb:

leviathan18 - cnc means computer numerically controlled, and that mill is manual, He would be called Mill God instead, but dutchcedar hasnt done much on the mill yet :)

^^^ Aye, its certainly not a CNC mill... yet, anyways... :hip: If GT69's equipment is Ferrari, mine is more like Model T... 'cause ya gotta crank it. :D

Its all in fun, though. I'm working on a device that let's the rig stay running while the mainboard tray is pulled out... allowing all of the liquid cooling lines to stay connected... its as much a milling exercise as anything else... fingers crossed in hopes it works. :thumb:

    Janne... get some sleep... :naughty:

This is how it turned out... :hip:

I'm waiting on some pivot pins and tubing to test it out. Wires will run through the center...

That is so nice. I can't wait for the finished product on this one.

Will the tubing be opaque or will you make all the wires going throught the tube 1 colour?

    ^^^ Maybe I didn't explain well enough...

The tubes are coolant lines going into and out of the pump. Wires (mainly for the HDD's and from the BaDactivity pod) will run between them, under the folding aluminum arms (hopefully into and out of the lowest holes). :hip:

Maybe the first sketch of it will explain better...
