Just thought I'd post a little praise for Crucial.

I eventually got round to RMAing my slightly dodgy Crucial Ballistix PC4000 sticks last week. Sent them second class recorded on Monday and recieved my new sticks back to me on Friday morning working perfectly with no problems. Was kept upto date by e-mail throughout the whole process.

Great service from Crucial! Definitely Recommended.

Do you really like crucial, or are you just saying that?

I've bought loads of RAM from Crucial, and only once had to RMA it, I also found their Customer Service excellent.

I think it's a good idea to post about good customer service, you usually only hear about the poor experiences, so depressing!

I love Crucial. I think for bog-standard RAM they can't be beaten. Don't know about their Ballistix memory, I'm not really an overclocker ( :eeek: )...

Crucial are great for what they're good at. Cheap stock ram intended for use at stock speeds. If I find someone who says "strictly and definately no overclocking", I recommend them crucial ram.

Thanks for posting, this will definately influence my purchase decisions.
Nice to know some technology manufacturers still treat their customers well.

Okay so we get someone who is praising the Customer service of Crucial, and it ends up as a spam trap. Come on guys.
Anyways, I guess its crucial RAM for my server when I build it (next year)

Crucial were tickled pink when I sent them a link to this thread. I had to explain that it wasn't a setup and that you were just sharing your feelings about the company of your own accord. At the end of the day, everybody loves a pat on the back :)

Good companies deserve one. So many companies seem to think customer service and high quality in their products isn't neccesary, that so long as something is fast or cheap that's fine. In fact I'd say the majority of companies are like this. So it's always nice to find one like crucial who do actually have good customer service and generally high build quality.

out of curiousity, does anyone know where the euphemism "tickled pink" came from?

    I'm too lazy to google

Probably because when you get happy or embaressed about something you can blush significantly.

When you get tickled you also blush and can turn "pink".
