I have a concern. If someone saw this (someone who doesn't play CS) they may be confused and be like "deagle, wtf does that mean?" Because its not a word, its a short form from the game for Desert Eagle. Perhaps writing that on it would be more effective, and make more sense to non CS people.

I have drilled holes in plexi and inserted LEDs form the back of the logo. Actually I dont like the colour because its more red than orange. I'd like to get amber colour and I'll try to paint the diodes. I'll put some pictures soon... so stay tuned :)

Thanks for the expenation to non-CS people :) I changed the concept of the left side so the "deagle" text will be palced somwhere else - on the front and not so big. Or maybe you've got better idea?

Rust is the main thing IMO!

    Try some bullet holes too?

    GREAT work too!

Like the look of it so far, have you cosidered using a grey paint close to the color of the bare metal to make darker scuffed areas that you could sand back to the metal partially so it looks like it has been painted but through wear scuffed back to the bare metal?
    Just a suggestion.
The only other thing that came to mind was a cinderblock pattern, because the 2 things i associate with CS has always been the Deagle and the cinderblock buildings.

    But overall great mod.

Yes, you're right. But I dont want to rust it to much so I have to do it very carefuly to remain in CS mood. I don't want to make another "Black Mesa".
So I'm still thinking how to do it...

I do agree! But how to get such a pattern without the cinderblocks? ;)
    Anyway I'll keep on trying...
