Id sooner read a book than read a screen, and pay 2.5 times the price for it..

Plus i don't have a PSP, nor do i fancy buying one

Now if they integrated this with some GPS - it could be much more interesting

Little bitty expensive for a lonly planet guide, now if they perhaps upped the price of the book to $29.95 and included the UMD I might be a little more tempted.
That said if they did include gps functionality it might be worth the extra cash

Good idea, but i dont think a PSP is an ideal platform for it.
You wont exactely get enough time to read what it is you want to read with the battery life of a PSP.
Its like that translator thing for PSP, good idea, but not exactely something that could be used as much as the software was aimed for.

A phone version would have been a better option imo. :)

    Paper Book > Electronic Book.

    :D

First law of electronic devices: the battery always runs out when you least want it to. :hehe:

Kinda reminds me of the pricing on CDs vs audio tapes or DVDs vs VHS tapes: The tapes cost more to make than the CDs/DVDs yet the CDs/DVDs cost more because they can charge more. (The joys of a free-market economy  (not that I'd advocate too many of the alternatives)) Well, I know how my dollars are voting.

The word "useless" comes to mind. Plus, I less than three my books.
