I say, that clocks and things shouldn't count. There are millions of times recorded every day and it's only a matter of um time before you see one reading 13:37. Similarly waiting for post counts to go past 1337 shouldn't count as they often reach that number quite easily. We shoud look for 1337 number plates and street signs and that kind of thing.

ok iv read the thread and i have to say its quite sad that a lot of you are using this language when you dont understand its origin so ill sort you out: Back in the day of windows 95, there were a group of hackers who used a program called back orrifice, this program used port 31337, which basicly looks like elite if it were spelt with a double e. just thought id share my knoledge and put a few people right. kk keep the pics coming its funny really lol
I hate to break it to you, but the history of the word has been linked multiple times, and I've even posted a pic of one of my ISP's servers that was hacked and had the 31337 port.
