I Loaded battlefield 2 but it won't run I get the opening page then a black screen then nothing. I have tried clearing all running programs with no luck This was a used game.
did you update teh patch via the incremental 1.3 to 1.4 download ? If so theres your probleml, the incremental patch barely ever works, you'll have to download teh full 1.4 (530mb) patch and reinstall BF2.
We need a bit more info, are you saying this is a Crash to Desktop or it locks up? Can you give us what version of BF2 it is? To be honest the easist way to fix most BF2 problems is to do complete re-install with no incrementals. But in the past incrementals have always worked for me too.
The question was asked 10 days ago, I'd imagine the guy's happily playing the game now and has forgotten he even asked on here
Only looked at the post above for date. Either he is happily playing it or is sick of all the problems and gone onto another game.
