Modding sb live hardware volume control

    i saw an article about controlling volume from the jumper named vol_ctrl by making a simple circuit in a modding site but couldn't remember the url. do you any of the guys know where can i find it??

    ps: i'm looking forward to see this mod in bit-tech :cool:

    I just did it ni about 20mins, on my soundblaster live VALUE.

    But you have to solder directly onto the board because there are no pins.
    Its just as easy tho......AND i tell you it is sooo easy to use em, rather than the volume control supplied.

    update

    Im off to maplins 2morro to see if i can get a 2 way switch. I think you can use this in place of 2 switches. Am i wrong?

    The switch needs to be a single pole changeover, non latching and have a centre off position. The contacts have to be momentary.

    i did it and tried it...
    it is really useful and will look good in my new modded mouse :eek: "i am going to put the buttons in the mouse"

    it's just a beta version :)
    actually i did this beast just to try the idea. i will add 2 buttons to my mouse and connect them to the live by changing the mouse cable and that sorta stuff. and when it finishes i will have an Ultra Super Hyper Cool mouse :)

    may be useles but i'll do it.....
