    hi

i got a bt voyager 220v from a friend a few months back and ive been using it with my isp(tiscali) using a small hack. but i upgraded the firmware and now it wont connect to anything other than BT.

Has any one got a backup of an old firmware (i dont know how old but im guessing anything before june) or ive heard that some of the install disks have a backup of firmware on them.

The firmware files begin with cfe-voyager

ive allready checked the net and all the links i found were dead.

I've got a firmware file off the cd: 2_18_01_12_A2pB016a_d15g. Is that any use? It's about 2.5 MB.

    Thank you

Ive tryed it out and it works perfectly :D

This firmwares better than the one i had before. It is infact the holy grail of firmwares for the 220v as it was made before Bt started locking the routers to BT.

I really cant thank you enough as i was ready to buy a new router.

    Hi Kenco_uk,

You must be really sick of this, but any chance of pasting that firmware again? Thanks very much

I've created a guide dedicated for getting the 220v working on non-BT ISP's including the original firmware download incase you upgraded by mistake (me too :( - enjoy!)

Thanks very much to all. It certainly does need it's own home.

Did I understand correctly from ohdarklord's comments that kenco_uk's firmware doesn't even require the javascript hack?

If so that would obviously be great, although I'm going to give martaay's a go.

Sorry to highjack this thread, but I am looking for the drivers for my PCI WiFi from the BT Voyager set. I reinstalled windows, and can't find the drivers anywhere on the net, and have lost the CD :wallbash: !

It's from the pack Plusnet were selling last year with router+PCI+PCMCIA...
Does anyone have a CD with the drivers on and could copy to me please?
    Thanks,
    Profqwerty
