Today i started working on the Metal for the stealthing part..

For some things a Darley is a great tool to use..



To cut the steel ….



Draw it and then polishing it.



The First piece out...



Next the cutout for the radiator.



This one went quickly too.





And then to the angle folder ,



Nice fit. Now the last part.



And that went great too.



Now prepare for the worst job. Galvanised metal is real bad for your health to welt. Normaly I don’t prefer to do it like this , but was no other option.



Some wires in between for the front opening.



Welded togheter.



Its difficult to welt 1,5 mm metal with a 1,2 mm wire



But the polishing machines are doing a good job.



Next fase holes for powersupply and watercooling.

But before the next fase we must know of its fit. Snakez is on his way back to his house and he will post the result.

 

Waah I want access to all those machines too!

 

Now that Ediejo did such a nice job on the metal for stealthing part.
We also must see if it fitts.
So first remove the hardware and top of the case.





And now hope it fitts.











Then also put the window in front.
Really want to see the result.

how much room is there between the panel and the new piece of metal?

You should dump a load of ultra bright leds around that thing, would make it look gorgeously back-lit

But it's your case, so you guys decide, hope it'll look nice bet it will keep it up

 

i think i would want the panel to be the same height as the stealth, but thats just me. looks awesome though.

 

Same, and possibly the stealth spanning the entire width of the case.

i kind-of see where snakez is going with the over-lapping.. i think it looks good, kind-of like an insert mat in artwork.

Nope Hdd's are not gonna be watercooled.

Thank you for al the compliments so far.

I read that some people think that the side panel must be the same high as the stealthing part. I think that some effects will disappear. With the different height in both parts we can make more light effect. When we put some led’s there, and also near the motherboard. We have than the same light effect at the front as in the back. So that’s the reason that we chose the different height in the panel. And I think when it have the same height. It looks a bit ponderous.

But that is my vision.

 

Today a perfect day to finch the stealthing part.
First some calculation for the holes.





Snakez placed the pump.



Also some UV-Leds for the steahlting part..



Drilling the holes.



Last part by hand.





Its fits.



Also the tubules for the vga



Put everything back to look where we need to cut some steel.



This is what disappears under it.





Make some extra holes for the cables




This one fit also.



One big hole to make.
