Looks great to me. I'll be waiting for some reviews of the panel quality before buying though...

Ooooh, if it's the same as the 2007 minus the extra inputs then I might finally migrate over to an LCD screen.

Im sold! I'll probably get it as a 13.3" MacBook screen is sometimes rather too small!

I'll have to pay of my MacBook first though! :sigh:

Wow, looks pretty good to me. Any idea on what the contrast ratio, birghtness, colours, etc. will be like?

Also any idea if a 24" version of this will be available? Really want a 2405 or 7 but don't really want to pay extra for the many ports I'll priobably never use.

Why is the picture of Dells last generation screen design? The current ones look like this:

This is a great idea, more choice is always welcome. I can see all the software devs at working wanting one of these when they get a new PC.

Great price, Dell's LCDs for the most part are top notch, so it looks like I may have a little something to dump some money on.

Yeah the 2005fwp looks yuk. i have a '07fwp and its megasexy. Dell monitors are just such good value and they look great. I want to get the 24incher and a ps3, itd be mint. and all dell monitors aredirt cheap in NZ(currently the 20inch '07wfp is only $700 which islike £200 right?) and the 2407fwp is the same price as the ps3($1200 so like $400...yeh sony hates pal...but its sony...ugota love em!) the 30inchr is 2700 with a free 7900gtx so if u sell the gfx card its only 2000 which is mega dirt cheap

    Apple, take note.

People want budget widescreen displays, not some over-rated, over-priced crap that looks nice.

I'll be getting one of these I think, my 2005fpw has problems with image retention, and aut-direct aren't being very helpful.

Seems like a perfect screen for a lot of people. I think i still prefer to have the extra inputs and usb ports, on my 2005fpw, just in case.

    Really?

    Current prices from www.dell.co.nz:
    2007WFP - $1049 = £373 (£401 on www.dell.co.uk)
    2007FP - $749 = £266 (£311 on www.dell.co.uk)
    2407WFP - 1599 = £569 (currently on offer at www.dell.co.uk for £566)

Wow, I've been after a 20" for ages but they've always been a bit too pricey for me. They've dropped quite considerably as well recently but this is brilliant news, I'm really tempted to save for one now!

Aye, I just got a 2005fpw too and I'm never going to use the svideo/composite inputs, or buy the soundbar.. dammit, ah well.

Looks excellent for the price (around £300, as it's got dvi+hdcp, so can be classed as a TV?)

    Ohhh...

My 2007WFP turned up just yesterday. :wallbash:

Despite the fact that I'm more than happy with it, I coulda saved £100 and probably been just as pleased.
