Sorry to disappoint you, but I never claimed to be great at any of this. That I will try to do better every day of course, would it be enough to please everybody definitely no. Don't worry, I had seen and know all the flaws in this case, no need to point them out; and yes they do bother me. Would I give you and excuse why they are flaws on it, no.

Don't sweat the paint flaws...the workmanship of the rest of the case speaks more than loud enough for your abilities to make up for them :)

Heck, I'm impressed by your wiring alone...I'm scared simply to change out switches :)

So here I start building the water cooling loop for the case

This are the RADs, already mounted in the RADs bracket
    [IMG]
here they are mounted inside the case, the flash made the top Rad look copperish in color
    [IMG]
this is a closer look, remember all the RADs are going to be cover, by the cover plates
    [IMG]
the pump goes between the lower RAD and the lower intake fan, this will keep it cool
    [IMG]
made this mounting plate for the pump
    [IMG]
this way is easier to mount inside the case
    [IMG]
the pump is secure with three screws to the bottom of the case
    [IMG]
the MOB has the WC blooks already in place
    [IMG]
I tried to do a simple and clean loop, this is what I came out with
    [IMG]
a view from the top, the cable wrap helps with the kinks and looks better
    [IMG]
this is how the loop looks at the pump, it won't be visible from outside
    [IMG]
I drilled a big hole at the top of the case, for the fill port
    [IMG]
a view from inside the case
    [IMG]
now another picture with the fill port in place, the screws don't come all the way thru the case
    [IMG]
a top picture of the fill port
    [IMG]
and here you got another one from a different angle
    [IMG]
this is the top part of the case, WC loop conections at the fill port
    [IMG]
need to connect the drain valve, it goes to that hose in the right side
    [IMG]
drilled a hole for the drain valve
    [IMG]
this is the drain valve, it has a barb at the end; forgot to take a picture of it
    [IMG]
the drain hose has been attached to the drain valve
    [IMG]
the upper two hoses, had to be connected to the RES ( haven't made it yet )
a picture of the pump showing thru the lower cover plate
    [IMG]
a picture of the right top section of the case with the cover plates back in place
    [IMG]

Well now I had to figure out and start building the RES, that should be the next update.

See you guys at the next post......CrazyModder ....out

omg >< that thing is monstrous. NOw that your adding watercooling, al lthat extea copper and liquid is gonna mke it even heavier. soon your not only gonn have trouble picking it up on your own, youll need a forklift just to move it. Good job thought, i love the black wrap around your tubing, what is it called? is it just black spiral wire sleve?

This is it guys the Reservoir build, enjoy.

$10 pasta cooker, 4"x12" and 3/16" thick at local department store
    [IMG]
I need a cap for the open end and it will hold the fittings
    [IMG]
little jiggy thing to finish the cap to the proper size
    [IMG]
    it fits like a glove
    [IMG]
glue the cap to a green plexi disc
    [IMG]
drill and treated the fitting holes
    [IMG]
fittings in place at the bottom of the disc
    [IMG]
added a clear divider that will go inside the RES to half it size tall
    [IMG]
glue the RES body to the lower plate
    [IMG]
The RES is finish, now to add some stuff to it
    [IMG]

this is just the begining, will continue at the next post

This is where CrazyModder, start working

I wanted a different looking RES, to be the center piece of the case. Some how I found this at a Pet Shop a Hamster Wheel.
It comes apart at the middle, so I got a top and a bottom
    [IMG]
I screw one half to the top of the RES and the other will go at the bottom
    [IMG]
this leave me with a gap that has to be fill, some more plexi was added
    [IMG]
painted the wheel to match the color scheme, the green parts are the wheel original color.
painted the cover plate for the inside too.
this is how it looks from the top, it will be the same at the bottom side
    [IMG]
build this little bars and sleeve them like the wires
    [IMG]
attach them to the cover plates
    [IMG]
Now you see the RES, almost finish
    [IMG]

I'm not finish yet, some more details are added in the next post..

last details to the RES, at least for now

I added some LEDs holders to both cover plates
    [IMG]
    wired the UV LEDs
    [IMG]
    tested them
    [IMG]
now I cover the RES with a black mesh, should look good with the green water
    [IMG]
put all together and is finish for now
    [IMG]
my friend seems to like it
    [IMG]

It end up at 13" height and 7" width, it has UV LEDs at the bottom plate and white LEDs at the top plate, I plan in power them indenpently. I still have to figure out how to attach it to the case, forgot to think about it while building this Mounstrosity.

Thanks to all of you that comment and voted in this log.....

P.S. You guys can HATE IT or LIKE IT, but please don't BASH IT.

This is the building log of the support bracket for the RES

its compose of three parts, very simple yet strong
    [IMG]
    the parts after painting
    [IMG]
now is assembled, I used glue and screws
    [IMG]
a top picture of the bracket and RES together
    [IMG]
and another shot from the side
    [IMG]
Now the RES is mounted in the case
    [IMG]
    a picture from another angle
    [IMG]
    and another one
    [IMG]
and last a couple of pictures of the WC loop
    [IMG]
I think is a very clean loop
    [IMG]

WC loop is finished, tested and no leaks.
