    Wow, a game where I can have my bandwidth wasted on in game advertisment spyware and uninstall important windows updates? Where to I sign up?

    What a bunch of bull, I can safely say this game will never be installed on my box. Did they actually think everyone would just be ok with this?

    You get to PAY for this too (and it's quite expensive compared to other PC new releases)! I wouldn't really call it a game either, more of a stand alone BF2 mod.

    Finding new and exciting ways to screw up, even though bf2 and vietnam were decent lan games I still wouldnt buy them or 2142. Valve may release things late but at least it works, and their in game monitoring system is used to fix the games, not find new ways to advertise.

    Just a message to tell you that the uninstallation of this patch of Windows is only needed if you yave Kaspersky Antivirus installed on your computer... It does that problem with a lot of games, it's due to a problem since the update between Kaspersky and the Kernel patch :thumb:

    By the way, Microsoft made available a patch that correct that problem here :rock:

    this is bad... i was defending EA alot about teh whole spyware thing coz i really enjoy the game...

    The only way I will ever get this is when the ads can be turned off and it doesn't screw with my computer...
    ...oh to hell with it I will get it and sue EA for my computer crashing all the time.

    And that, boys and girls, is why we don't allow image sigs at Bit-Tech :duh:

    And by the looks of that thread, they may have fixed this problem, but there are hundreds more to take it's place.

    Is it just me or are newer games having more and more problems every year?


    And now i would like to say how much i hate ea since they massacred westwood. EVIL!!!!

    Seriously guys, why do we always have to put up with ******** constantly from EA?! I mean there the biggest company around, so you would have thought they could hire some half decent programmers!

    But no thats far too much for them! I mean between installing spyware (b.f 2140 something, selling us dodgy incomplete games that require huge patches (b.f.2 again) and expansion after expansion when they should have been concentrating on releasing a well made product.

    Sure EA or only the publishers, but they could have let the developers take there time instead of pushing for x release date!! It has to stop! It has to stop here and it has to stop now! Down with EA!
