Antec case mod, Simple Mod Project - Formerly Alienware: Resurection

Yeah It's still living, just really tight on funds... Once it gets warmer I'll be out with the dremel again.

Alright guys, I know I've said I'm not going to quit on my mod, but for now I'm taking a slight break with some minor workings here and there. I do have plans for it, but my life is now going in a new direction as I am going to be getting married in the next 4 months! My future wife, won't let me quit on this project, so maybe she will be kind and let me take some of our wedding money to work on it. Fear not friends. This mod will live!!

Scrapped Alienware Case.

Ok so I'm back in the game. of modding. I scrapped the Alienware case it ended up getting some bad frame damage from me moving to one place to another. So I've gone with a new case. The Antec NSK4400. It's a nice case. Here is the gear going inside it.

This is a faily simple mod, nothing special, I just need something faster then what I am currently running! I'm modding a window in the side of the case, I'll post pics once it's done.

Ok so my side window is done, here is some pics. Sorry no pics of me cutting. Decided to rez this thread for it after i chose to do it.




Ok so there it is. Yeah I am well aware the window it self is scratched... ALOT... But the MATS for it we're free so i wasn't going to argue.

Here is some pic's of the case it self, I have 2 evercool blue LED fans in the case. the 120mm pictured a few posts back and and 80mm for the front. I also routed the some of the wires a bit. to see what i could do to hide them. Enjoy, More to come!

I'd cut-out a big intake grill in the bezel. It's a blank canvas!

 

Please dont! The front looks good and clean like it is cut a bloe hole at teh bottom and use a 45% fan duct. This will up the air flow but keep it clean looking

 

If you look at the sides of the case, the front sides are vented. Won't be putting any holes in the front, Kinda like it how it is. Also mnpctech thx for getting the U-chan molding to me so quickly! (I know you get alot of orders, but i figured I'd say thx anyways)
