Unholy Alliance II tour 1st Nov NEC: Slayer; InFlames; Children of Bodom; Lamb of God and Thine Eyes Bleed then the week after on the 8th Opeth at the Carling Academy, Birmingham.
Torche and Baroness next week, that will be quality. Black Cobra a couple of weeks later, dead good sludge metal. Don Caballero and Capricorns a couple of weeks later, awesome! A couple are at the Medicine Bar and Black Cobra is at the Jug of Ale. I really fancy seeing Church of Misery and Sourvein on Thursday too, but I've got a bunch of filming to do that night, grr.
Slayer - 30th Oct - Cardiff Muse - 12th Nov - Cardiff Nebular Frost (mates band) - 24th Nov - Exeter Tool - 30th Nov - Cardiff Amon Amarth/Wintersun - Dec - London (maybe)
The tickets were £30 each plus £3 booking fee, so if I'd bought them from the box office it would have cost me £66. To pay four pounds over the odds when standing has been sold out for months is brilliant! I could sell one on ebay for £50 and make it a very cheap gig but my conscience wouldn't allow me.
Only band I've got on my list is Enter Shikari later this month. Especially as its half the price of a ticket to most of the major festivals, which of course you see waaaay more bands per £.
Muse tonight! Although apparently they didn't play any Showbiz tracks last night in dublin... I was hoping for muscle museum.
Lined up as of now: These arms are snakes- December 4th. Iron Maiden/Trivium- December 17th. Brand New- February 8th. Bloc Party- February 21st. Ice
