Modding IDE Cable Cutting....

    Ive got a new ide cable witch turns out to be too long for my liking, so im wonderng wether or not i can cut the master drive bit off the end, and then use the slave connector as the single conenctor for my DVD....


    is this possible ??

    it works just fine, but take care with the cuting so you dont short the wires
