went to buy some tools+parts to sort out my car for its MOT today...got front discs and pads, two lower suspension arms, and a track rod end ball joint to put in tommorow. never done anything like this before so i hope i can do it...
Have a friend come over who has done something like this before to help out. It goes faster if you know someone with experience.
The ball joint will be the hard bit to do. Get a proper tool for popping them apart or you'll be on it all day: http://www.machinemart.co.uk/product.asp?p=040211222
Bah! the fork version is more fun. although you can get too violent with them. Ball joints are a pain in the arse to do too.
Eek, you doing that lot on the floor or do you have acess to a ramp? That's quite a big job you got there, even for a garage.
never used a ball joint splitter in my life, i find two hammers works just as well Discs and pads are a piece of cake on a 205, lower arms shouldn't be a major problem either, i did the one on my cavalier in about an hour BTW make sure you have a torque wrench handy, lower suspension arms have very specific torque settings for a reason
