    ... chamber?
(and after MS shoots people who break in, MS gets to work with the Dremel and jigsaw... :eeek: )

and OMFG NON-BLUE LIGHT EMITTING DIODES! It takes a while for the eyes to adjust to the intensity of the red plexitubes when one sees so many aquatube/plexitubes with blue LEDs :thumb:

Everyone reading this, meet up with me three blocks west from MS's home on Feb. 30, 2007. We will separate into three teams.

    Bring Airsoft BB guns.

Team 1 will enter from the right, Team 2 from the left, Team 3 going straight through the front door.

We WILL get those Plexitubes before Bush bombs a country for them.

oh yeah, and a couple of you guys should bring hex wrenches or something so we can just take those coveted 'tubes and leave the Black Rain project in otherwise perfect condition.

    Divider plate support:

OK, gentlemen here is the weekend update.
I came up with a idea for a (much-needed) support for the divider plate:
:hehe: the back-side looks to BE about 5" too-low..
We will start-off with threaded rod (M4) cut to length:
then measure and drill some holes
    [IMG]
in both the divider plate itself and the bottom of the case:

nuts, top and bottom of the threaded rod will hold the divider plate at the correct height.
    chrome acorn nuts on top:
The threaded rod is less than pretty to look at.. The answer is an outer-sleeve (aka tube).. 1/2"ID carbon fiber tube..Not a vinyl sticker, the REAL-DEAL::
Not cheap, comes out to about $2US an inch!!
BUT-HeLL, it's only money.. and it looks kickass...

also polish-up a pair of Indian Larry's brass pushrod covers, will be using them as well:
cut the CF tube to length and rubber grommets for the pushrod covers (top-side)..
then just slide the tube over-top of the threaded rod:

    I like it.. Has a "chopper-vibe"..
    chrome and CF :thumb:
There is still "lots" of work to be done on the divider plate. I need to drill/cut a hole under the aquatubes for wiring (LEDs) also find the right location for a pair of Eheim 1046 pumps in AC full metal jackets. Lets mock-up:

0-ya a pair of bulkhead compression fittings as well:
that does-it.. Two more pictures for the road:

    ABC-ya:
    (120) seconds for U to read, (6) hours of work-done: NO-FEAR...

great work on that plate, gj on using carbon tubes, welcome to the composite materials club :thumb:

from what i see those tubes are made from 195g per square meter carbon i have that stuff at work and can make those basically for free, so if you need some custom made ones, tell me and i can do it.

i cant figure from the pics though, is the outside smooth or does it have waved texture?
