    Ah, ta :)

    They're 1"x1" x 1/8" thick. Which in metric is ~25mm x 25mm x 3mm :)

Culley: I bought the angles from my local Metal Supermarket, a global company with franchises everywhere, theres a fair few in the UK and i believe they deliver too :)

I think the frame for the case was ~£30 and the sides the same, i keep forgetting. I wouldnt have said the parts were anything more than £100 to actually make the case, but i've probably spend well over 1 1/2 times that in total on mistakes :)

sirkillalot617: The DVD drive came from CCL computers as they were one of the few places that had slot loading dvdrws and didnt want to charge me upto £90 for it. I think mine was ~£55ish delievered, which wasnt bad.

The jukebox is coming along nicely so shoudl be able to get back to Serverama soon.

The acrylic front panel makes it look like a "geeks" glass window fridge, great mod and how many hard drives are you putting in there?

There'll be a maximum of 24 drives, ideally in four 6 drive RAID 5 arrays, but that dpends very much on money, or rather its availability to me for drives and cards.

Ive done some work to the case today, not much though, didnt have a great deal of time. Before the case is painted/finished it need the gaps between each rail filled to the point of invisibility when finished or at leasted filled enough to make them look even.

Some of the internal metal work needs filling as well which after i mixed too much of the metal filler i had a go at. I'll post some pics of the final results when i get the chance.

Some of the sides arent quite level so they'll be ground down once this stuff has set.

Some of the thinly applied filler set slightly faster so i could get a bit of work to see how it was to work with. The finish isnt bad but i'll still be spraying the case.

How do you mean? attaching it to the frame or to the mobo?

Done most of the work on the gaps in the frame this week.

Some parts didnt need much filling.

Others needed more, but both came out nicely.

Going to find some primer and test it on something if the juebox case isnt ready.

hey can you give more details on how you made the jig? and what are you using to cut all the metal? you may have mentioned it but i didn't pick it up in the thread.

I used a fine toothed Mitre box to cut everything and then finished the edges with a couple of files. The jig (i assume you mean for the corners of the frame) is two pieces of alu pop rivited at 90 degrees to each other onto a piece of alu, which is screwed onto a piece of wood as the alu wasnt thick enough to hold everything together.

The rest was built around two pieces of the frame and corner braces. Theres a few pictures in the original log, just not sure if its still available in the forums. I'll dig it out and take some more pics if needed.

Also, ive been doing more finishing on the case, but with little effect worth photographing atm, should be primed soon when there'll be more pics.
