This might be old news but I've just noticed 8800 series cards are now available on overclockers.co.uk

Some are pre-order but some are apparently in stock! I challenge you not to drool! :D

Nice I'll look forward to reading that. I thought it was unlikely I was the first person to notice, I'm not the most observant person. :D

I walked straight into that one didn't I. :hehe:

Ah dammit, someone mentioned Cornish Pasties at work and now I'm drooling :)

Damn, got to figure in an upgrade in the next year or so! C2Q and now dx10 gfx.. Mind you, I think it may pay to wait for AMD/ATi's challenge to Intel's current champion.

Bloomin eck, them're sexy. Only problem is where to find the required 500 quid for a new psu and a card. I mean , my whole pc at the mo only cost 550.

    I hate people with well-padded wallets. :\

At least this way I might be able to pick up another 7900 for cheap, SLi goodness. :D

I'll second that one buddy :D

The only thing making me wonder now though is the HDR+AA capabilities, as well as the clearly improved image quality of the nvidia 8800 series.

Still, I think an AMD 'native' quad core and R600/G80 may force me to upgrade next year :sigh:

Mind you, a tube of Maplin's circuit writing paint, a pencil and 2 7900gt's can go a long way.... :naughty:
