Basically jSlideshow is a javascript slideshow creator, you just wrap your images, in a div tag with an id of jslideshow, and the javascript will do the rest producing a nice little slideshow. To fully understand you would be better off checking out the demo at http://therootdesign.co.uk/jslideshow Any feedback is appreciated.
Looks cool, I'll spend some time messing around with it as soon as I find a need for it. I presume it is easy enough to change the colours?
That IS really cool... I'll definitely use this! Is there a way to add a feature to turn off the numbering at the bottom? Also adding a A href to an image for going to a place that relates to the image? Is the box only as big as the largest image? Or do you set that up with the CSS and the DIV?
Sorry, i havent replied, yeh i'll try an add a feature for a custom link. As far as customising it goes, I'm re-writing the code so that it references to a css file for color customisation etc. I've also added in a loading animation. I'll upload it a bit later on today.
cool, thanks for the intrest. I've completely re-written the code, and produced a slightly more professional looking slideshow, over here, http://therootdesign.co.uk/applications/ourapps . If you lot like it, I'll annotate the code, and upload it for everyone.
The second version is great! I like the way that it looks flash based, but isn't - only thing I don't like is that clicking on 'images' throws me to the top of the page again - on a large page it would confuse the users. Upload it and don't forget to credit yourself in the source - after all it's your work.
thanks, didn't notice that error, so I just updated it. Basically the code right now is a bit messy, as in it unannotated and unclear as to whats going on. I'll get that updated in the next 1-2 days and then upload it, and i'll make sure to label it as my work!
