Check it out. This man has spent his money very wisely on a custom garage:

"...about 17,000 square feet, sizeable, to say the least, for a private garage, which is enough space to work on about a dozen cars at any one given time. About a quarter of that space is taken up by the machine shop, which includes a massive amount of equipment."

This place is an absolute wet dream.

Highlight: the video about his 'Tank Car'. A hotrod with a 30litre Patton tank engine in it.

Not bad, but I don't think there's much that could top Nigo's Bape camo-painted Phantom and Veyron.

Not even a completely unique, 28ft long, 1600bhp hotrod with a tank engine in it?!

I'm more impressed with the tank-engined cars people make on a more affordable budget.

Ah man, there's no pleasing some people :/ Imho it's a remarkable one-off of design, regardless of price or who funded it.

I have to say that were I to win the lottery, this is the sort of endeavour that I would spend my money on. Sod a mansion with a swimming pool! I'd friggin' live there instead lol

It's an impressive machine, don't get me wrong, just seems kind of like he's taking the credit for making it. Maybe I'm just jealous ;)

Fair enough. It didn't seem like he had much to do with it other than buying the parts I suppose. I thought it was kind of funny that the engine dude got pushed out of shot after he'd finished explaining the engine fitting.

Isn't the tank car in Gran Turismo as a special car? Can't remember which version, but sure I've seen it in a showroom.

Probably, considering your whole car fits in one cylinder of that thing :p

Speaking of which, I wonder if a tank engine would fit in mine... Might need a slight bonnet bulge

There's a chance it would upset the weight distribution somewhat too.

Not surprising, I bet it's a total dog to drive in real life too. The sound would be incredible but otherwise I expect it'd be a bit rubbish.
