Cooling Looking for a Water block for Reserator 2 "8800 GTX"

    Hi

    I have a new Reserator 2 , the water block for the GPU doesnt fit. This has been explained by Zalman , but in the mean time I want to buy a seperate Cooler..

    Its for a 8800 GTX , becuase of mixing metal types what GPU water cooler could I use for my 8800 ?

    Tubing is 12 x 8 mm ..

    Could try the Aquacomputer 8800GTS Waterblock but i don't think the block has been released just yet... i'm sure there are connectors around which will be suitable with the reservator

    I'd stick with aircooling for the timebeing mate - there'll be some WC blocks for the 88 series soon. Those two dies will be a bitch for any normal block...

    Ye , Im sure Zalman will make one for it ... Im not sure if both dies have to be cooled...

    The main chip is massive..

    Here is my card with the Zalman cooler next to it..

    I suppose you could put a VGA-sink on the small die, then put a waterblock on the main die. That'd probably work nicely. (didn't think the smaller die had nearby mounting holes).

    the power regulator also have to be cooled dangerden has their block out for it. It has g1/4 fitting holes so you should be able to find a connector for your tube size. Dangerden states there is 26 parts that need cooling

    Ouch , but I dotn think Memory Chips need cooling unless your volt modding and alike.. May be Im wrong..

    At moment I can only find 2 , little expensive but I think I shall wait a little while to see what other companies bring to the market..

    Shouldn't be any problem getting fittings for the zalman - it's G1/8 thread.
