    Sooo .. you reckon 8800 GS and 8900 GT or ? :D

    I reckon I'l want to buy a card once a couple decent DX10 games are out but the current ones just seem a little too pricey/power hungry for my liking, a shrink could be just the ticket :hip:

    It's the outside of a (dead) microprocessor. How excited are we supposed to get about it?

    Did anyone else think this article was about a hack to make nVidia's latest girl demo naked, like Dawn from the FX series?

    It's the 2D part of the GPU, Nvidia decided to put it there to reduce the already enormous size of the main GPU :D

    It looks like di-electric grease or some plasticoat lacquer to protect the PCB from condensation. :)

    I think there are other, not so obvious reasons actually. I think we're going to see a dedicated CUDA processor at some point - for that, they obviously don't need a RAMDAC since it'd be used as a floating point processing device and nothing more. :)
