I'm after a Live linux distro that supports reading ntfs and writing to a usb pen drive. Does anyone know of one or could perhaps knock one up? A keg of e-cookies for anyone's help
most will do that now, if your after a liveCD, try Knoppix, or backtrack they have a lot of stuff installed by default and are really nice... or you can use a gentoo/ubuntu liveCD
use the Ubuntu or Gentoo live cd like Buzzons said.. I's my opinion that knoppix has become to bloated to be used for things like this.
Thanks for the suggestions. I tried Mandriva Live and it appears the hard drive's fubared on the laptop I'm attempting to fix. Repair install didn't work, unsurprisingly (WinXP).
