    ok, so i should use plastic polish instead of painting and use bondo to fill in the gap around the DVD drive. So that leaves me with one question.....how should i paint the bondo?

    first time seeing this thread and love your case idea. I am truly a Star Wars geek though. I had the case figured out from the first internal picture you took where you were cutting out the dividers. I have the same case in storage at home. hehe.

    where can i get the plastic polish? I was also told bondo heats up and could melt the plastic????

    Unfortunately I don't know anything about plastic :( , but I love your idea! Vader is a cool star wars character! :D

    maybe wait for bondo to cool? it should stay workables for some time. er dont mix it on vader either. im kinda beginner bondoer 2. i have some never used it for plastic.

    Ok. I have not quit on this project. I actually tried the plastic polish, but it did not work. I have some krylon fusion gloss black paint, but it is still too cold to paint right now. I also bought a glue gun for the speaker. So, when the temp stays above 50F, I will get back to this!

    Well, well. I know everyone thought this fell of the face of the earth. but nah. I tried sanding the case and painting it. Bad results. The wife has been on to me about it and said fix that later and let the kid have his PC. So, it is up and running. I will get some pics soon. I am thinking about building another.........
