I got a new 8 MegaPixel digital camera to replace the one I have been using (my 1.3 MegaPixel motorola razr). Finally I can take pictures so that I am not the only one that knows what I did. I also got a Zune for my birthday a few days earlier. Quite spiffy

PC-wise I got a Logitech G11 and $400 to help pay for my new gaming rig I'm building in February. Also got a new drill and saw set for modding.
I got a dell 24" widescreen LCD. Not directly related to modding, but it's ispiration for me to build a new computer that can actually run games at it's potential, which will come with a mod of some sort.
I got myself a Canon S3 a few weeks ago as an early Hanukah gift. Also, I've picked up a cheap 9 piece Craftsman wrench set and now I've got a $50 gift card and a $100 gift card from the credit card company (rewards points, woo!) for the hardware store. Oh, and I went crazy at an industrial supply shop and got some plastic rod, lots of socket head cap bolts, a few plastic sheets, and some adhesive syringes, weld-on 4, acrylic square tubing, some screwdrivers and a hose cutting tool. I also got a Zalman fan controller, a Swiftech radbox, a VGA water block (Asetek), and some white sleeving. Oh and this was ALL from myself to myself. I plan on getting (with gift cards): a clamp-on vise, a heat gun, a dremel router attachment (possibly), maybe a tap & die set, a spare pair of safety glasses, possibly an orbital polisher/sander or an angle grinder, AND a ~120mm hole saw. Happy Holidays to meeeeeeeeeeeee. My fiance got me three very awesome shirts/sweaters. So far, we've had some issues with what to get each other as gifts. In 3-4 years, that'll change after I get my grad degree and hopefully make the BIG bucks and move into a house. The first thing on my list after I take over a basement is a Dewalt drill to replace my 12V Black & Decker, along with a drill press and miter saw!!
There is a gap in one's life where the number of holiday gifts and birthday gifts dwindle drastically. It's somewhere between the age of 21 and becomming a parent...
What a first post. You could get a girlfriend (if you don't have one) and get here pregnant within the next three months then you will have a kid for Christmas and therefore plenty more presents. Or you could become a provate music tutor like my mum as she always gets loads off here pupils.
