Bring me the horizon really do not give you the impression that they're gonna be deathcore. They all look like a bunch of overtly up their arse metros with the angsty teenage side parting that has had a serious ripple effect around society these past few years

I saw Mendeed not long ago, supported by Send More Paramedics - both bands were absolutely class.

Got some yesterday, threw it on my mp3 player and cranked it up on my 600watt system at work.

It was so loud and hard I think it gave me cancer.

Anyway, is there anything out there that is ear-bleedingly fast, insane (note: LOUD) bass line, and lyrics that are a mix of korn and static-x? Anaal Nathrakh is good, but the lyrics just don't do it for me.

Spineshank might be right up your street. However the only good album was synthetic! the others are garbage =(

Rammstein have a similar brutality but they're not as fast.

    Mudvayne perhaps?

That's all i can think of really since static-x are in a complete league of their own since they have such an individual style.

This is a pretty darn gnarly tune: Otep - Warhead

Bring me the Horizon are terrible! Saw them live and I was not impressed.

Spineshank, the album your refering to is 'The Height of Callousness'. Which I agree is the best of the three they did. Now they've split up. :(

Rammstein are good, but the older stuff is far better tbh.

Mudvayne are awesome imo, better live though.
Again, older stuff is heavier, and newer stuff is more rounded out. Mellower.

Static-X seem to change on every album to me! Good though.

Try some Entombed, Morgoth, or early Arch Enemy (before Angela Gossow took over as vocalist).

    :hehe:

gotta admit, they're brave if they're willing to dress like that for an album cover

Tracking down some Spineshank right now; they definitely seem interesting. Mudvayne is just too slow for me, good sound, just too slow. As for Static-X, just far too unique of a sound to nail down I guess (and I would have to agree with Shadowed_fury, they change every album, but really haven't topped Wisconsin Death Trip I think). Oh yeah, and Otep rocked roughly 96% of my ass off.

    Thanks for the suggestions though.

I saw these guys supporting My War a few years back, quality stuff.

Heaviest song? I can think of a few, but decent heavy stuff is different. I'd probably say Fear Factory's Edgecrusher, although I would rather listen to Opeth's The Moor.

I saw them earlier this year, supporting God Forbid and Trivium. They were pretty good, had never heard of them before that. Terrible hair though.

Blleding through have only one realy heavy song i find, Love Lost in a hail of gunfire! i hate the ending though "my heart belongs to youuuu so save meee".. oh dear oh dear >_< the rest of the song is brutal though =D

The Agony Scene are similar, proper brutal but they have these bits where they have to ***** out.. suppose the hairstyles should say it all really..

Check old Christian Death, Stigmata by Ministry or some Nine Inch Nails.
