    When i was recently looking at monitors a few of the Samsung monitors had dynamic contrast figures quoted so i would bet 3000:1 is Dynamic and its around 1000:1 real.

    Samsung panels are always good in my experience too, and if its priced between the dell and viewsonic thats very good indeed.

    Finer pitch dots outrun more inches IMO. It will be emphasized in crisp images of games and movies.

    And all the info the staff got us on this new monitor line is the contrast of 3000:1 ? What a worthwhile reason for upgrading :p
