POTM January '07 POTM

tbh December and January are just busy months for me and, apart from when I was in Paris, I haven't touched my camera. Should have a bit more free time in the coming months though so looking forward to participating in theses comps again.

Plus it'd help to have osme easier topics. I know everyone whinged after last months but this months I don't think was a great choice, even though it was from a vote. Britain isn't very wintery, and it doesn't cater for those members that aren't in a classically winter country; ie Australia.

I've had some new kit arrive today which I'm hoping to maybe test at lunch so I may still have an entry for this month yet...

 

Im working a 7 day week now I write for Bit full time. I had to cancel last Sunday meeting Woo even

 

yeh i have been snowed with assessments and the few flakes of snow that i saw today were coupled with rubbish light so no entry

 

i prefer abstract themes that are open to intepretation. come on guys! where's the 'inner turmoil', 'frigidity', 'desperation', 'jump!' style briefs?

('jump!' was meant to have a positive connotation )

 

Will be interesting seeing some of these, I also prefer abstract to real stuff like landscapes or w/e

 

And just when we were saying how un-wintery this country was, and I was guaranteed a top-three finish, it dumps two inches of snow on us.

 

I'll whack the voting open tomorrow evening if that suits everyone, then at least people who haven't had much time to get out shooting have a full day. I'd appreciate people who've already posted photographs to add them to the POTM site in time for tomorrow.
