Now this is a cool mod, it's been long time coming, but now it seems to come together rather nicely. Also making video updates is something new, could consider that myself if my spoken english wasn't that crappy Do you have plans on when to get this mod done, hopefully in a couple of years Keep up the amazing fabrication work. Janne
LOL...i plan to finish ohh..in 2014 I'm actually alot farther that most people think. At least fab stuff, the rest is wiring. I was never in a rush to finish, I just do it in my spare time. I feel that if you breeze through it then theres no fun in it. And if you take that out, then why do it? A bit off topic but... that orange monster is wicked stuff
Thanks, I do think the same way about modding, though I intend to finish OM a bit sooner than 2014 A couple of questions, have you done the red acrylic front already and to add to that question, what's the purpose of that blue box on top? LCD maybe, fanbus...who knows, well you do Btw, do you know that the initial sketches remind me a lot of Legos I used to play when I was younger. It just looks like something you could make out of legos, though I think it's mostly the colors that make the resemblance, lol. Anyways, I'm at least looking forward to seeing more of the Node 23... Janne
I love legos Those sketchup shots are real old now, would be fun to update them. And the red plexi up front I need to pick up soon. It'll probably be one of the last things to go in. And the blue cube...i've changed my mind so many times about that thing. Originally i wanted to put in a fingerprint scanner in there, make the front of it a little door. But i think i'll just keep it a solid cube, just for design
This weekend hopefully (recovering from a minor accident) I was able to get the actuators remote controlled, nearly finished the external psu and made a couple of other parts. I need to start ordering pc parts very soon too!
I'm looking forward to see new pictures or maybe an film on youtube(moving parts etc.) Keep up the good work.
