Asking for trouble, but TPB is definitely becoming a lot more political then it used to be.

Sound like you dont think its a good thing? It could be good, educate the masses, make the corporations understand they can't ever stop the pirates. Forcing them to drive there prices down to compete, which is what we all want.

I don't agree with encouraging Piracy. I agree with DVD lending of movies, and I agree with reducing prices of movies tickets and so on.

But all this is going to do is let the MPAA and so on say "The prices are so high because you're downloading them".

    It's a catch 22

This'll be quite a bit of fun to watch how it will be taken by MPAA and other organizations in the near future.

I'm sure this is sticking it to the man with a knife :hehe:

You have to give them kudos for the original idea though.

Well I laughed while reading their little message to the corps. Good on 'em - providing a laugh at least and hopefully pissing off the MPAA big time.

It is nice to see them get more political as it were. Shows they have a proper understanding of what the consequences are. We all know the person who downloads every bit of media they have and claims to be a huge movie/music fan- that kind of thing will damage the industry, not to mention the whole thing becoming a psychological 'I could buy this...but I could just download it for free.' compulsion.

Nail on the head, the RIAA tryed to close them down and they couldnt, and now they open another website :D!

Think it just proves their point, they will work as hard as they can, but theyll most likely never stop piracy in one form or another

    chopchopchopchop... roflcopter :D

Those guys, hahaha! It's just hilarious what they're pulling of here. And to be honest, I think they're absolutely right. Promoting piracy is wrong of course, but they are right when they say that the current path Warner (and co.) isn't a very good one. Especially their points regarding the (lack of) quality of movietheather-movies.

An overdose of commercials, an overpriced Coke with 70% icecubes, annoying little kids that throw popcorn at people that like to wátch a movie, bad soundquality, non-focussed beamer... I'll take a nice highquality movie at home above that poo anytime. ;)

I think it's interesting that they are also making a public vote on the movies also. This adds an extra problem for the movie people. People always suggest the oscars are rigged etc. if one film gets a "publicly voted oscar" that doesn't even get a mention in the real oscars, what happens then. anyway... hard weekend... i can't really say what i am trying too. :)
