awesome Emachines T6412 desktop project -FINISHED

    hello all. i am going to be modding an Emachines T6412 desktop. my sig is what the final specs are, but if you are interested, you can see how it came to be. i am only 15 years old so i do not have the money for high performance water cooling and motherboards. but i am proud to say that everything below i have spent my own hard earned money on.. below is the original desktop and the items am upgrading it with.

    The Victim:

    stock specs: amd athlon 3400+ s939, 2.2ghz, dvdrw, 200gb hd, 512mb ddr400

    hardware upgrades:

    amd athlon 3800+, 2.4ghz, 2000mhz fsb, s939

    256mb ati sapphire pci-e 16x video card

    512mb ddr400, i am putting 4 of these in, to equal 2gb, dual channel

    COOLING:

    80mm blue led fan

    antec vcool led vga cooling fan

    Arctic cooling freezer 64 pro "the beast". i have put the stock fan next to it to show the difference in size

    these are the hardware mods i have installed... i will soon post the rest of my desktop and my sound system i have installed... for now.. im gettin some pizza

    UPDATE!!!!

    Ok now that ive had my pizza and pepsi i am ready to post the "rebuilding"

    first i installed the new cpu and "the beast" because, well its a beast and it the biggest thing in the case.

    it took me a good 15 minutes to get this in properly

    next i installed the video cardand cooling fans

    i had some extra tubing from my fish tank setup that i threw in the case for looks. (it looks nice with the LEDs)

    THE SOUND SYSTEM:

    75 watt phillips powered subwoofer, this thing shakes the house

    Xrocker computer chair w/ 80 watt subwoofer and headrest speakers, i kinda wish i could make the subwoofer LEDs blue ot match thne rest of the computer

    2 15" 400watt subwoofers (800WATTS TOTAL), this baby makes things fall off shelves 2 stories up. (Im in the basement)

    Final update

    as you can see i have posted all my progress in about 30 minutes.. for m final post i am going to show what all my hard work has become..

    Nice mod, but this is more of a pimp-my-mod than a worklog. Not really a mod either, I guess; you just showed what hardware you put in your computer.

    u sure you got the cpu cooler installed the right way around isnt it surposed expell air out the back of the case

    change the way the artic cooling is facing and you're going to notice in temperature drop..... a bit of a show off the rest of the equip... but if thats what gives you the jollys ...... nice set up

    yh, turn the cpu cooler so the fan is pushing air through the heastink and out the back of the case. and also have the case fan at the back taking air out if it isnt.

    TIDY UP THE CABLES PLEASE!!!
    ok, enough caps.
    i agree with the above statements about the cpu cooler, it should be the other way.
    why would you put tubing in your comp that doesnt do anything? a good idea if you still want to keep it is to wrap some cables in it. cut the IDE cables apart, so they are not just a single tape but a bunch of indifidual wires, slit the tubing legnthwise, and wrap it around the wires.
    and please, please, please, if you have not already done it, get rid of the stickers on the front and maybe even paint the gray parts.

    How old is it?
    Minie didn't last long enought to mod, infact it didn't last one year before it self distructed.
