what the drivers have directx 10 support for vista in single gpu mode. but no sli 8800 in vista yet. whats so new about that? http://www.bit-tech.net/news/2007/01/30/nvidia_releases_forceware_100.54_for_vista/
There aren't any DX10 games out yet, and given Nvidia's relationship with games developers, I'm sure they'll have DX10 SLI drivers out when the first DX10 game is released.
Does anyone really need two 8800's anyway? I think that why theres no driver support for it, the only thing using direct X 10 on my machine is my TV card lol.
In a happiness frenzy I bought Vista Ultimate for my hungry 8800GTS. I'm DEFINITELY going to regret it, but right now I'm going to enjoy losing all that money.
When are we going to see DX10 used somewhere? I'd be sure of buying an 8800GTS right now were it not for the simple fact that their DX10 performance is untested, and could be terrible for all anyone seems to know.
With the tech demo released by Nvidia you can now actually install and run DX10!! Check it out on www.nzone.com . If you can run the tech demo, you should do it before you do anything else! It's truly amazing...
