Congrats & 2 thumbs up for your work buddy!!!
First thing i like is that u have used Cooler Master becoz thats the only brand available around my place...not "ACRYAN".
And those black tubes sure looks original but clear tubes will rock dude!!!
Anyways its ur idea & still rocks for me!!!

To make the picture complete I've now also connected the fans and the LCD.

The fans are now connected to 12V, but they make so much noise that I will make them run at 7V permanently. I'll leave out the switches for the fans because I won't ever switch them to 12V anyway.

Well I liked the AL2216W for the four days that I had it. I've returned it to the shop and ordered a Samsung 226BW instead. That screen has much better specs and is 10 euros cheaper too (at another shop). Unfortunately there are hardly any shops that have it in stock at the moment. The website where I ordered it sais it will be in stock within 14 days but I'll call the shop tomorrow to ask when they are expecting it.

    Nearly finished:

And a closeup of the radgrill:

These pictures were taken yesterday afternoon. The case is now finished and leaving for CeBIT today. The red in the pictures is from the motherboard's onboard LEDs. I've tried to cover them up with some tape but didn't completely succeed. The red can still be seen a little bit. That will be fixed after CeBIT.
Also some other things need to be done after CeBIT. The front fan didn't get mounted as I miscalculated the location for the mounting holes. The rear fan doesn't have a grill yet and the pump needs to be replaced by a less powerful one (the reservoir is unable to keep up :duh: and its also very noisy).

I will be visiting CeBIT on Sunday and Wednesday (next week). Of course I will be taking many pictures and I'm going to try to find new sponsors for my next project (a big one ;))

    Damn!

I've somehow missed this thread, that's some quality work there. I think it's too cool to be a Linux machine :hehe:

Looking forward on what you're going to do next with this case and of course your next project.

    Have fun at CeBIT!

I love the look of the top-grill you made! Will try to make something as cool as it myself!

Nice simple mod (in the good way!). Good inspiration for a rookie like me :p

Yes this case was intended to be simple, I've seen people implementing inspiration from this mod into their own mods already :)

Last sunday and wednesday I was visiting CeBIT. I made some pictures of the event, which can be found here. Not as many pictures as I'd planned to make but I was too busy talking to people from Corsair, Club3d, Abit, Sparkle, Silverstone and others ;)
