If you're even half a metal/rock fan you'll love it. The remixes are just as good, arguably even better in some cases.

Well.. It's probably too late for you to care, but here's my bit...

Pit and Pendulum (Ask to buy an RIP card.. it's only a quid for 10% off, Cocktails are 2 for £5.50)
Hog's Head (Buy a Tribus Card... only a quid, and it gets you something like 25% off.. around £1.54 for a pint of smiths)
Speak Easy (The place next to scream)
Tap and Tumbler (Cheapish booze, alright people, downright evil witch of a landlady *shiver*)
The Old Angel (Nice, average prices, bit of a dog on bit of string pub but it's well loved)
    Cookie Club..

    For after hours drinking, you got;

    Tantra (Silly expensive... SILLY)
Cookie Club (Average price but there's a cover of about £4)
Turf Tavern (Dunno about prices... Barred..)
    Rileys (Until 2)
Casinos (Crumbly, expensive, open til 5)
City (Bit cruddy but if you're near I guess it's ok.)

Saturday night is definitely the best night to go to Stealth Vs Rescue. Its rescue rooms teaming up with stealth to create one huge (and cheap) night out finishing at 5am. Think its just about my favourite night out. Rock city is not gonna be so great because its the Loveshack which seems to get loads of older sleazy people and 80's cheese.

Vodka Mixer for £1.50 at stealth Vs Rescue is awesome though. Plus its free entry if your in before 10ish. I am a bit biased though since i used to work at City/Stealth/Rescue.

Ahh my bad. Distortion isn't bad but i still think your better hitting stealth Vs rescue next time.

Damn, wish I'd caught this thread before saturday! My GF lives in Nottingham, and we did indeed go to see NIN (due to me being a complete fanboy). The gig was simply amazing, i got right down to the barrier in front of Geordie (the bassist), and had a damn good time.

And then i went backstage for the aftershow, although all that happened was that i read The Independant for 10 minutes before me and my mate left to catch up with our other friends at some dodgy glam night (Wildside at Junktion 7). Did see Geordie in the corridor though, and we exchanged manly nods of acknowledgement.

Shame the Monday gig in Brum was postponed though :(
