    Hi guys,

for my project im considering cutting large areas in my computer case's side panels and replacing them with mesh. What's the best way to hold the mesh down onto the panels?

Glue or nut & bolt or something else? I havnt got access to any advanced tools.

    thanks -
    Vaz

you can use bolts, rivets, bondo, epoxy, some fiberglass, super glue (i wouldnt) pretty much anything that is used to hold something to another thing would probably work. if you want it permanent (im guessing you do) you could use JBweld.

Without advanced tools, epoxy resin is great, or if you are a tape guy try the double sided tape used in mounting mirrors.

id suggest using epoxy resin as well or even super glue but super glue probably isnt all that super enough for mesh.. also nuts and bolts as suggested before work great.
    Thanks,
    Rage.

It should be a pretty good thing to use actually since the glue sticks to anything and it will surround the mesh wires giving it a nice hold. Personally I'd go for it :)

Yeah as long as you're careful with the glue gun and not get it in a place where it's visible.. take it from me.. it's almost impossible to get glue from a hot glue gun out of those holes...LOL
