I might just have to do some renovation work on my old case with all the ideas you've given me. Great work.

If I'd only like the overall design, this would get to my personal top 5 favorite mods. Outstanding metal work is visible in every single part, but...

Thanks, y'all... its been tough gettin' back to it, because of the holidays and lately, a ton of work came in... but I got another radiator in that should help cooling the system...

    A Second Radiator...

Cutting an 80mm hole in a piece of 1/4" aluminum using a turntable on the mill...

Chamfering the edges with a router bit...

Cutting the bracket to shape on the mill...

And here it is, mounted to the trailing edge of the mainboard tray...

    And from the front...

    Damn!

Loving the way you use your tools and equipment, I guess that mill wasn't such a bad buy for you :hehe:

Always so good to see this project progressing, this has certainly taken modding up a notch for me and I think for quite a bit of the readers here at bit-tech.

What can I say, great stuff once again.

The fan is a bad decision if you want to have a silent system. i had them too but threw them away because they are noisy as hell.

OK, Winter's officially over, the snow has melted and I'm tired of shovelin' the stuff. :hip:

    The HDD Rack...

There was some serious tweaking that had to go on to make this fit...

The original aluminum mounts underneath were causing a clearance problem with the new cooling tube schtuff, so I machined four stand-offs from 5/8" diameter Delrin round stock, and recessed a 1/4" thick aluminum baseplate into the rack... There's enough room to change out drives when the mainboard is pulled out and the water lines unfold...

You can see how tight it is above the cooling tube brackets... I even had to shave 1/4" on all four sides of mnpctech's fan grille... I hope the ATX power connector fits under there...

Its gettin' crowded in here... :D

I went on a bit of a hardware buying spree. :D Next is water cooling all three 8800GTS video cards with EK waterblocks (cool plumbing solution, cross your fingers) and modifying the PSU pod to take a larger, 750W PC Power and Cooling PSU. Danged upgrades always seem to take more space... but I've decided to run three thirty inch monitors off of this rig, so there ya go... :hip:

    The mainboard

    The video cards

Oh... and a keyboard mod is in the works too... an Enermax Aurora... the mod was inspired by that nifty one at steampunk workshop...

Hat tip to Jazzle for his SketchUp models... I wouldn't have dreamed this up without his site's models... :thumb:

    3 x 30" monitors, dang! :hehe:

While you're buying stuff, go ahead and buy yourself a neck support also :D

What brand monitors are you going to use, hopefully they're at least 1920x1080 ones for gaming you know, lol.

Good to see this project progressing once again, quality stuff as always. That keyboard is going to look great with that setup, but you already knew that didn't you :hehe:

Hey, one thing I was meaning to ask you, is the colortheme inspired by pimp my ride season 2, episode 1, Big Rons Cadillac Eldorado? It has literally all the same colors and pretty much the same kind of graphics. If it's not, then you should definitely try and buy that Cadillac to go with this mod :hehe:

    Keep on rockin'
