    heya all.

i bought the above card last friday fitted and installed fine. disabled onboard in the bios removed drivers etc. worked fine all night with music and films in 'entertainment' mode. however when i go into 'gaming' mode after around 20mins of playing any game the sound disappears and the speakers do a high pitch buzzing noise. i've reinstalled drivers, put upto date ones off net on,tried diff pci slot and still does the same.

any ideas or it a faulty card?

Hmmmz, who did you buy it from, its worth ringing their tech support, tell them the problems you are having and what you have done, they may say it is a faulty product and RMA it, certainly sounds screwy

I actually rang them rather than e-mailed and got a good response so maybe give that a go. Its hard for someone to ignore you when you are on the phone with them.
