Hmm ... sad thing they're so exclusive they won't even release decent images of their product ... :sigh:

Anyways, never would I want such a thing, but I sure would want to be able to want one :hip:

    pointless and stupid.
The rate at which hardware depreciates and becomes obsolete, it will be worthless is a few years...only the diamonds they put on it will remain in value.

I think if you're going to buy one of these, you're not the kind of person that cares about depreciation ;)

Their website is invitation only FFS.

What an absurd idea. I hope they go bankrupt.

One million dollars!? That's just stupid.

Makes Apples' range of laptops seem quite reasonably priced...

I don't know, when I was in Los Angeles a couple years ago there was a news article about a dumpy mobile home in a park overlookoiong the water selling for a million. Doesn't go very far in some markets anymore.

I agree, all the details are vague - just the $1,000,000 soundbite.

There's even less details about Luvaglio Plc, a quick search at Companies House shows their address and that they're a pretty recent startup.

Anyone in London want to go and have a look.

or if you're spending that on hardware alone, create a rackmounted computer cluster.

    sample shopping list :hehe:

30 or so Dell 3007WFP monitors
1 or 2 Nvidia QuadroPlex VCS nodes
5 or more 8-Core Servers (1-2 windows boxes, the rest a linux beowulf cluster)
at least 30TB of RAID6 storage
    the power bill.
    T3 line

now; which of the two options is better? :D

Rich people will buy anything no matter how stupid it is as long as it's expensive and gaudy. Case in point: One of my old customers has a life size (as in, the pieces are 5-6 feet tall) frog warrior chess set in his back yard next to his $600,000 pool. He owns a company that supplies syrup for about a dozen different kinds of soda companies. His two nephews are each worth $90,000,000. He takes care of them now because their mother (his sister) was killed in 9/11. Her estate was split 50/50 between her kids.

They are 7 and 10 years old.

You ever see a driveway with a basketball hoop in it with an old truck tire or something on the base of the pole to try and keep it steady? Normal, right? This guy has a Ferrari wheel sitting on his kids basketball pole.

He's one of the less-wealthy people living on that street.

So, you see, a million bucks is just chump change to some people.

    Sickening, right?
