Cooler Master made some slick cases a few years back, I've got ATC-201 Black Widow and it's a fantastic case Other famous CM cases include the ATC-101/0, S4000-SX1, ATC-400 (oh so very rare) and the ATC-500. Lian Li, Silverstone, Yeong Yang and Antec come to mind when thinking of excellent cases.
Antec Titan for the win. No super out of the norm airflow setup which doesn't work. hdds down the bottom, cd drives up top, fan at the front, fan at the back, psu at the top. Its a case. I dislike the Lian-Li V series and the P180 for the same reason. They have negative airflow. Great for cooling, but enjoy the dust.
They clog up remarkably fast, and then they won't let any air through at all. They're also really hard to clean.
...no it isn't. The best method is to run water through them. I should know, I've tried. Those cans of compressed air? Junk. It got a lot of stuff out, but the filters were still rather gunky. They were still quite restrictive, so I turned the sink on full blast, and cleaned them out that way. And then had to wait for the things to dry out. (Conclusion: Just say no to dust. Keep your computer off the floor, keep your room vacuumed.)
I like my Akasa Eclipse 62, I looked at a lot of cases, and the only other that I thought came close was a Lian Li V2100 Plus II.
Thats right, I had given myself ~£200 for a case when I got mine, I was thinking about the Akasa Mirage-62, but I find doors a pain... now if it was to open on the other side I would have got it, because I am right handed and find doors get in the way. I cant understand why this has never been thought about with case makers ?
